How Delta Dental Billing Works at Our Office
Because we’re in-network with Delta Dental PPO and Premier, the billing process is simple:
- We verify your benefits before your visit. Call ahead with your Delta member ID and we’ll confirm what’s covered, your remaining annual maximum, and any deductible left for the year.
- We use Delta’s contracted fee schedule. Our charges for in-network services match what Delta has approved, which keeps your out-of-pocket cost predictable.
- We collect only your portion at the visit. Typically that’s your copay, deductible, or coinsurance. Most preventive visits are $0 out-of-pocket.
- We file your claim directly. Delta sends payment to our office, and your account is reconciled automatically. No paperwork on your end.
- If anything is denied or held, we follow up. If Delta requests additional information or denies a claim, our front office handles the back-and-forth.
For larger procedures like crowns, root canals, or implants, we provide a written pre-treatment estimate so you know exactly what your portion will be before scheduling.
