Most of what a family needs from a dentist over a lifetime happens here, at one office on Burton St SE. Dr. Brandon Jankowski and Dr. Jonathan Kahn handle preventive visits, fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, dentures, implants, and cosmetic work in-house, so a problem found at a checkup can usually be treated by the same team in the same building. When a case calls for a specialist, we'll tell you plainly and coordinate the referral.

Which dental services do you offer in Grand Rapids?
Eastgate Family Dental provides general and preventive dentistry (exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, sealants), restorative care (crowns, bridges, dental implants, dentures, root canals, extractions), cosmetic dentistry (teeth whitening, veneers, bonding), pediatric dentistry, emergency dentistry, periodontal treatment, nightguards and TMJ therapy, and oral cancer screening, all at our office at 2003 Burton St SE.
Do I need a referral to see a specialist for a crown or root canal?
No. Crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and dentures are all done in-house by Dr. Jankowski and Dr. Kahn. If a case is complex enough to need a specialist, we'll explain why and coordinate the referral for you.
Can my whole family be seen at the same office?
Yes. We treat patients of every age, from a toddler's first visit to grandparents who have been coming here for decades, and we can often schedule family members back-to-back on the same day.
Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?

How do I know which service I need?
Start with a comprehensive exam. We'll take the necessary x-rays, look at your teeth and gums, listen to what's bothering you, and walk you through your options before anything is scheduled. You can also call us and describe what's going on; our team can usually tell you what kind of visit to book.
